The series is organized into four sub-categories: a 15-model carbon fiber baitcasting lineup, four Elite Spec glass-composite baitcasting models, and two Solid-Glass Tip spinning rods. The Variable Taper design used across the baitcasting models is central to the series identity: the taper transitions from a moderately soft tip through a rapidly stiffening mid-section, providing lure-load for casting while generating enough power through the blank to drive hooks on reaction bites.

The glass composite models (marked -Gc) use Nories's Vacuum construction to bond glass fibers without air pockets, producing a blank with a consistent bend profile and dampened vibration ideal for crankbaits. The HB730MH-Gc is a 7-foot-3 grip-joint 2-piece designed for long-distance casting of medium-heavy cranks.
