SEMETANA WAKASAGI FLAT TIP CB

Ultra-short ice fishing rods from Prox's SEMETANA wakasagi system, designed for jigging for wakasagi (pond smelt, Hypomesus nipponensis) through ice. The WHHC series features a flat carbon tip, carbon fiber processed into a thin plate shape instead of a round taper, which provides a distinct tone relative to glass: slightly stiffer feedback, clear visual movement on delicate bites, and a black-body/white-top coloration scheme for visibility against ice and snow. These are paired with Prox's SemeTana electric reel platform but carry a 5 mm base diameter making them compatible with other small spinning and baitcast wakasagi reels.

Two blank lengths (approx. 21 cm / 8" and 28 cm / 11") each offered across four actions from SSS (super-super-soft) through ML, totaling seven models in this CB (carbon blank) variant. The SSS and SS models are for detecting the most tentative winter bites in cold-water lows; ML is for conditions where slightly heavier micro-jigs or weighted droppers are needed. Construction is minimal by design, these are hand-held or table-mounted sticks, not cast. All seven models are spinning designation but function as vertical jigging tools held in hand or mounted to a rod stand over the hole.

The 21 cm (WHHC521x) and 28 cm (WHHC528x) length split gives anglers a choice based on hole depth, sitting posture, and personal preference for arm movement during extended sessions. No casting function; entirely vertical-presentation oriented.
