The Eagle Claw Crafted Glass is a fiberglass spinning and casting series based on retro aesthetics with updated functional specs. It fits anglers who fish traditional presentations, bobber-and-worm, live-bait still fishing, crappie, or light freshwater work, as well as those drawn to the slower, more flex-loaded feel of glass blanks versus graphite. Eagle Claw positions this as a heritage-styled modern rod, outside the direct nostalgia replica lane. Blanks are fiberglass, but the series uses higher-grade glass than the cheapest entry-level rods, producing a faster action than the 'noodle' rods of earlier decades.
Weight-per-length is higher than graphite equivalents, which is part of the feel but a limitation for all-day casting. Guides are standard chrome or ceramic; reel seat and cork are described as balanced and hand-selected. Quality-control variation has been noted in user feedback, outside the tight-tolerance precision-built series lane. Eight models span an unusually wide range: 5'6" through 13', all spinning except one 9' casting model (CG9MHC2). Powers are light through medium-heavy based on model code parsing.
The short 5'6" L model (CG56LS2) is a panfish or crappie tool; the 6' and 6'6" M models cover standard freshwater work; the 8' MH bridges into pier or light surf; the 9' casting model and 9'–13' spinning models suggest a surf or pier application for the long end. The 13 ft model (CG13HS2) is among the longer fiberglass surf rods available at this price point.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest model in the series. L-power fiberglass at 5'6" is a panfish or crappie-specific rod, the glass blank's soft action and shock absorption is a feature for small hooks and light line, preventing break-offs on hard sets.
The only casting (conventional) model in an all-spinning series. At 9 ft MH it is configured for pier or light surf bait fishing with a conventional or casting reel. Useful for anglers who prefer levelwind control over spinning gear for heavier presentations.
The longest fiberglass surf rod in this lineup at 13 ft. At this length, E-glass construction is unusually rare, most 13 ft rods use graphite for weight management. The glass blank here will be heavy but nearly indestructible; suited to bait fishing from piers or open beach with heavy rigs.
