ALX Rods is an American bass-rod maker that builds its rods in Aiken, South Carolina. Founder Alex Dziengielewski began building rods at home in the mid-2000s; after his first batch sold to local bass-club members, the hobby became a business, which he and his wife Jennifer now run with an in-house crew. The company designs proprietary blanks and assembles them with components to spec in its Aiken facility, using American-sourced parts where it can. It runs a "pro-shop" model, selling production and custom rods directly.
The lineup is split into five technique-focused series. OXIM is the versatile mid-tier, built on the 140 GSM XM Hydra carbon blank for general bass work across finesse, jigs, worms, and moving baits. ZOLO is the tournament-oriented series with the widest model range, including the glass-carbon-hybrid Rumble. ENOX is the high-end feel series on premium Toray carbon, covering finesse spinning and BFS casting (the Aura is its dedicated bait-finesse model). IKOS is the entry tier, built on the low-resin intermediate-modulus OS Hydra blank. SWMR is a purpose-built swimbait set covering wakes, glides, and deeper swimmers.
