About ENGINE
ENGINE is the fishing brand of Rings, a Japanese tackle house whose rod line is built entirely around bass fishing. The rod catalogue is the Spellbound family: the original Spellbound, the higher-specified Spellbound Circuit Class, and the current Spellbound Core, each split into casting and spinning. Core models are solid-tip designs aimed at finesse presentations, running as light as 1/14 oz on 3 lb line, while the casting side reaches 3 oz and 30 lb for cover work. Individual models carry a supervising pro's name in the catalogue. Beyond rods, ENGINE makes hard and soft baits and the Studio100 range of tungsten terminal tackle.
