About Redai

Redai is a Brazilian rod house built around the country's own gamefish: tucunaré (peacock bass), robalo (snook) and dourado. The team, with over twenty years in rod development, tested its first prototypes with professional fishing guides in 2011 and builds in a near-artisanal process under the Redai Genuine Blank Technology mark. The current range is three tight series. Black Mamba Second Generation is the tucunaré family: five fast one-piece baitcasters from 6-12 lb to 14-25 lb on Fuji SiC New Gen guides and Fuji ECS trigger seats, topped by the BM2PS 2560 built for big propeller baits. Pulse, designed with Jansen, is the robalo jighead and soft-bait spinning trio on Fuji Alconite. Mamushi NANO-C is the flagship single: a Toray Nanoalloy blank with Fuji Torzite guides and Redai's Ultra Sense Grip, a carbon-skinned handle built for ultralight jighead sensitivity on robalo and black bass. Handle lengths are published per model in centimetres, line classes in pounds, lures in ounces.

What Redai is known for

A specialist Brazilian brand with a deliberately small, high-spec catalog: the Black Mamba is a reference tucunaré baitcaster, Pulse the robalo jighead spinning rod, and the Mamushi NANO-C the Torzite-and-Nanoalloy flagship. Fourth Brazilian brand in the catalog, at the technical end opposite the volume houses. Guide-tested since 2011 under the catch-and-release banner.
