About JYG Pro Fishing
JYG Pro Fishing is a slow-pitch-jigging specialist founded in 2019 by Jorge Polo, an engineer based in the Jupiter area of Florida. The company began by designing its own slow pitch jigs (the Deep, Semy, Wyld, Stryke and Tuna Bomb collections) and built the rod line on the same program, under the motto "Think Deeper." Polo runs the brand with his wife Robyn, who handles brand development and marketing, and a Team USA pro staff of working slow-pitch anglers feeds product development.
The jigging range runs from the $189.99 Foundation, a 6'0" solid-carbon rod rated 100-400 g for 80-400 ft of water, through the two-piece Revolution Pro 6'3" (three powers, 80-700 g, conventional and spinning, plus a 7'10" Long built for party boats) and the solid-carbon Evolution 6'3" (four powers from Mycro 20-100 g to Power Max 460-730 g, Fuji Alconite guides), to the $599.99 Tribute flagship: a full-carbon blank with Fuji titanium guides, offered in powers 0 through 10 covering 30-1100 g jigs. The Revolution Ahi Jig is a 5'2" solid-carbon speed-jigging rod (PE 3-8, 100-600 g) with spiral-wrapped conventional versions, and the Revolution Ahi Pop line covers 30-ton popping blanks at 8'0"-8'6" for tuna and GT.
Inshore rods ship under the Shore Pro Tackle sub-brand: Revolution, Evolution and Foundation Inshore series on 24-ton carbon with Fuji Alconite K-frame guides, from $99.99 backcountry spinning rods to 9' XXXH surf-class models, alongside the JYG-branded Estero Inshore line. Distribution is direct and through US saltwater retailers including TackleDirect, Capt. Harry's, Mud Hole and J&B Tackle.
