About Daisen
Daisen Fishing is the Japanese-component tier of Grupo Maruri, the Diadema, São Paulo tackle group founded by Wu Hung Chih. Where the parent Maruri catalog spans everything from telescopic bank poles to pay-lake glass, Daisen concentrates on carbon lure rods built around named Japanese materials: Torayca 30T and 36T blanks across the freshwater families, Fuji hardware on the Odachi and the slow-jigging Mizuchi, Sea Guide sets on the Ishidai 2. The freshwater range is a ladder of one-piece baitcasters and spinning rods in the standard Brazilian envelope (5'8" to 6'6", ultralight to heavy) with families named in Japanese: Kitsune, Seijin, Odachi, Ishidai, Saitama, Inverse and Legionary, plus a four-piece Kitsune Travel with its own case.
Two collaboration lines anchor the specialist end. Guide Bruno Oliveira co-developed the ocean program: the Mizuchi jigging family (slow, light and micro jigging, PE-rated with jig windows to 300 g) plus the Atama SW slow-pitch blank and the Kojira coastal lure rod for anchova, olhete and xaréu. Kayak angler Fábio Baca signs the Akame and Hariken families, rods specced for Brazil's fast-growing kayak fishery.
What Daisen is known for
Torayca-blank Brazilian lure rods and a guide-developed ocean jigging line. The Kitsune family (30T Torayca, black-piano seat) is the volume seller; Seijin and Odachi carry the 36T blanks with Fuji hardware on the Odachi's full-carbon handle. The Mizuchi slow/light/micro jigging family and Atama SW cover Brazilian offshore parcéis, and the Fábio Baca signature Akame and Hariken lines serve kayak anglers.
