About Guru
Guru, trading as Tackle Guru Ltd, was established in 2009 as the match-fishing sister company of the carp brand Korda, under the slogan "knowledge is power". The brand built its name on terminal tackle: QM1 and Kaizen hooks, X-Change feeders, Pulse line and the ready-rig program are standard kit on UK commercial fisheries. The rod and pole range now spans four tiers. A-Class is the accessible entry range across feeder and float rods, poles, margin poles and whips. Aventus is the flagship name: the R generation of feeder and waggler rods, the SR light feeders, the Zero 600, 700 and 900 pole families up to 16 m, telescopic whips and a 7 m bolognese rod. N-Gauge covers the workhorse middle in standard, Pro and Specimen builds, the Specimen arm adding 12 ft barbel and dual-tip rods rated in test curves. The X-Change Bait Up rods serve the baiting-up role that Steve Ringer helped define. Feeder rods ship with carbon quivertip sets and the pole packs bundle top kits; rods are rated in gram casting weights in the continental style. Sold through UK and European dealers without published RRPs.
