Kanicen Nix is a Malaysian ultralight fishing brand built around its founder of the same name, an angler known across Southeast Asia as "The Ultralight Trend Setter" for pushing ultralight techniques into the region's mainstream. The company operates from Puchong, Selangor, selling direct through its own online store and walk-in shop and through a network of verified dealers and tackle shops across Malaysia. Beyond rods, the catalog covers soft baits, handmade micro lures and spoons, jigheads, HALUS braided lines, LASAK fluorocarbon leader and terminal tackle, all sized for ultralight work.
The rod lineup is written in Malay slang and folklore: Toyol is a mischievous spirit, Jeram means rapids, Melencong means to take a detour, Sengat means sting.
