The SYCVCi-53UL is its mid-length stream build, rated a slightly tighter 2–6 g than the other two. Fishman builds baitcasting rods and nothing else, and the Beams blancsierra 5.2UL is its stream entry: a three-piece pack rod at 104 g that rides in a daypack to headwaters the other two travel to in a rod tube. The weight penalty against the two-piece rods is real but modest, and the 2–7 g rating covers the same water. It is the pick if your BFS fishing starts where the trail does.

Can I buy these rods in the United States? ▾
Not through regular retail. All three are Japanese domestic market rods: buying means a proxy service, an exporter, or a specialist importer, with shipping and fees on top of the Japanese price and no US warranty. Some Palms models are the exception and appear on Amazon US.
Why do the rods have no prices listed? ▾
The database lists USD list prices, and none of the three has one — they are sold at yen MSRPs that fluctuate against the dollar. Expect the landed cost of any of them to be well above a domestic $100–200 BFS rod once importing is done.
