The Hammer is Lamiglas's entry-level walleye jigging series built for anglers who work vertical jigs and live-bait rigs in rivers, reservoirs, and open-water situations. The extra-fast action delivers rapid hooksets in deeper water where line stretch would otherwise cost strikes, and the medium-heavy power gives enough backbone to move fish away from structure on 8–15 lb monofilament or fluorocarbon.
All three blanks share the same extra-fast taper and medium-heavy rating, built on a polished graphite blank. Stainless steel guides with Alconite inserts keep the build affordable while still providing smooth line flow, and the cork handle pairs with a carbon fiber tube under the reel seat. An adjustable foregrip accommodates different hand sizes and spinning reel footprints. The lineup covers three lengths.
5'8", 6'0", and 6'3", all at the same power and action rating. The 5'8" suits tight quarters or ice-off conditions from small boats; the 6'0" is the versatile middle option; the 6'3" adds casting distance and additional feel on subtler bottom contact. All carry the same 1/4–1 oz lure range, pricing them uniformly at the value tier of the Lamiglas walleye catalog.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest model in the series. The 5'8" length makes it the most maneuverable option from smaller craft or confined boat decks, suited to close-quarters jigging and drifting where leverage and reach matter less than control.
Longest model in the series. The 6'3" gives noticeably more casting reach and a slight increase in sensitivity to bottom feedback during long drifts, at the cost of a bit of close-quarters handling compared to the 5'8".
