This listing aggregates Major Craft light jigging models from three distinct product families: Giant Killing 1G (GK1), Giant Killing 5G (GK5), and New Solpara (SPJLJ). All are designed for boat-based offshore light jigging, vertical or cast-and-retrieve presentations with metal jigs made for nearshore and offshore pelagics including yellowtail (amberjack class), mackerel, rockfish, and hairtail. The technique is common around Japanese coastal waters and is spreading globally. GK1 uses intermediate-modulus carbon with a low-recovery (torque-focused) design that reduces angler fatigue during extended jigging sessions while providing accurate jig control.
GK5 employs the R360 structure, carbon fiber arranged in four axis directions, yielding a lightweight blank with high power-to-weight ratio; it serves more demanding species and heavier jigs. The New Solpara SPJLJ (released May 2025) is the entry-tier option: mid-modulus main cross, thick butt section for power, Fuji K guides, detachable-grip construction. All three families share the 6'3"–6'4" length standard for boat jigging, short enough for direct pump-and-wind leverage in tight quarters. The 19 models split between casting (bait) and spinning, with both configurations available across GK1 ML/M, GK5 L/ML/M/SLJ, and SPJLJ ML/M.
The SLJ models (GK5LJ-B64SLJ, GK5LJ-S64SLJ) are designated Super Light Jigging variants, implying lighter jig weights and thinner line for finesse applications. The SPJLJ models exist in both single-piece detachable-grip and 2-piece configurations (the "2" in the model code).

A closer look at notable models.
Super Light Jigging variant in the GK5 (5G grade) family. Intended for lighter jigs and finer braid than the standard ML/M models, a finesse offshore approach where subtle jig action and thin-diameter line outperform heavier setups in clear water or pressured fish.
Spinning counterpart to the SLJ casting model. L power designation confirms a lighter-load, finesse orientation. Spinning SLJ suits anglers who prefer spinning reels for the free-spool drop and faster line retrieval on lighter jigs.
