G+imp. is a bait-finesse rod built for headwater and 源流 streams. The blank composites UD glass with low and mid-modulus carbon, producing a compact, strong casting tool that loads at short range yet keeps enough butt power to control 50cm-plus trout in tight water.
The build is a 4-piece, 4'9" rod rated 2-6g and 4-6lb, sized for the close, accurate casting that small-stream fishing demands. The glass-and-carbon mix gives the tip the give that keeps light lures connected on the strike, while the lower blank supplies the lift to turn a big fish away from snags.
G+imp. is offered in a standard build and as a limited Mizuide custom edition, the collaboration with trout-bum angler Junichi Mizuide. Like the rest of the Anglo line it is hand-built and serial-numbered, made one at a time at the Setagaya workshop.
