Paragon G

Paragon G uses UD glass, unidirectional glass-fiber cloth, for the blank. The vertical fiber orientation is light, slim, and sensitive, and is often likened to bamboo. Tubular-glass suppleness gives the lure good bite-and-give on the strike, which reduces pulled hooks, and sets a slow, relaxed casting rhythm.

The series is positioned as fun trout-bum rods for fishing handmade minnows and spoons, where the pleasure of the cast and the feel of the fish matter as much as numbers. The action rewards a deliberate stroke rather than a fast snap.

Paragon G is a 3-piece rod from 4'11" to 5'11", rated 1-7g, in both baitcasting and spinning builds. Mizuide editions, the collaboration with Junichi Mizuide, add spiral guide settings. As the catalog's UD-glass entry point it shows what Anglo's glass construction does before the angler moves to the graphite or bamboo tiers.
