The Cape Cod Special Jigging series is Black Hole USA's high-end one-piece vertical-jigging lineup, spanning twelve short, stout rods from 5'0" to 5'10". Models are organized by jig class rather than by power rating: the 80g 510 (5'10", 80 to 250 g, 20 to 30 lb line), the 150g 56 (5'6", 120 to 250 g, 20 to 50 lb), the 250g 54 (5'4", 120 to 350 g, 30 to 60 lb), the 350g 52 (5'2", 150 to 400 g, 40 to 80 lb), the 450g 50/52 (200 to 500 g, 50 to 100 lb), and the 550g 52 (5'2", 250 to 600 g, 60 to 120 lb). Each jig class is built in both casting (B) and spinning (S) versions, and every casting model is also offered as a spiral-wrap conventional build at a small upcharge. The blanks use High-End Nano Carbon with WXW Wide X-Wrapping, a construction that keeps the rods light and thin-walled while supporting heavy lifting loads. The action is parabolic, bending through the blank to spread load across the rod during long fights rather than concentrating strain at the tip. The short lengths and broad jig ranges suit boat jigging across inshore bottom species up through tuna-class fish, with the heavier 450g and 550g models rated for the largest jigs and line classes in the range.
