Cape Cod Special Nano Popping

The Cape Cod Special Nano Popping series is a three-model offshore spinning lineup built for big tuna and monster GT. Lengths run 7'6", 8'0", and 8'6", all two-piece, with lure ratings from 100 to 180 g on the 7'6" model and 100 to 200 g on the two longer rods, over line ratings of 50 to 80 lb and 50 to 100 lb. Those numbers place every model squarely in the heavy popping class, built to throw large stickbaits and poppers and to fight fish on the deck. The blanks use nano carbon reinforced with Black Hole's WXW Wide X-Wrapping, which increases carbon density for added durability and lifting power. Despite the added strength, the series is tuned for a softer, responsive action, aiming for a balance of power and flexibility through long, heavy fights rather than a stiff fast-recovery profile. Compared with the stiffer Graphite Popping rods that share the same lengths and ratings, the Nano models trade some tip recovery and casting distance for a more forgiving bend under load. This is a serious offshore series for anglers targeting large pelagics on spinning gear, with the longer 8'0" and 8'6" models offering more reach and casting distance for working surface lures at range.
