The Challenger Bank is Black Hole USA's core inshore-to-offshore casting and jigging series, built around a Toray Nano Carbon blank with Fuji Alconite guides and a fast action across every model. The lineup spans 18 one-piece rods from 6'9" to 8', graduated through six power classes: Ultra Light (1/2 to 1 1/2 oz lure, 8 to 16 lb line), Light (1/2 to 2 oz, 10 to 20 lb), Medium (1 to 4 oz, 20 to 25 lb), Medium Heavy (3 to 6 oz, 20 to 40 lb), Heavy (4 to 10 oz, 20 to 60 lb), and the heaviest 8' Medium models. Nearly every power and length is offered in both a casting and a spinning build, so an angler can match reel format to the same blank. Casting models also list a spiral-wrap conventional option at a small upcharge. The graduated range covers finesse inshore work and light bottom fishing at the UL and Light end through bottom jigging, fluke, and small-to-mid tuna duty at the Medium Heavy and Heavy end, where the 4 to 10 oz lure rating and 60 lb line ceiling carry the heaviest jigs. The fast tip detects subtle bites while the lower blank holds the backbone needed to lift heavy fish, making this the brand's most adaptable single-blank platform.
