The Dark Horse II Bass series is a four-model freshwater bass lineup spanning 6'5" to 6'9" in two-piece spinning and casting builds. Powers run Medium Light to Medium: the spinning S-672ML (6'7", 4 to 8 lb line) and casting C-652ML (6'5", 6 to 12 lb line) cover finesse and lighter presentations, while the spinning S-692M (6'9", 8 to 14 lb line) and casting C-682M (6'8", 8 to 14 lb line) step up to heavier moving baits and cover. Blanks use CTX (Carbon Tape X-Wrapping) construction, positioned for rebound strength, crisp recovery, and the control needed to work fish out of grass, laydowns, rock, and similar structure. Components include Fuji Alconite guides and customized reel seats. All four models are two-piece. Pricing is uniform across the lineup. The series targets freshwater largemouth and smallmouth bass and is built around short-handled, structure-oriented presentations rather than long-cast or open-water work.
