Eclipse AJING is a two-model light-game spinning series built for ultra-light saltwater fishing. Both models are two-piece spinning rods with an ultra-fine solid tip: the S-602L-HCS (6'0", 0.4 to 4 g lure) and the S-712ML-HCS (7'1", 0.5 to 8 g lure). Lure ratings in grams place these firmly in the small-jig ajing class, where the rod must register very light jig heads and the faintest takes. The fine solid tip, intended to capture subtle bites, is paired with a backbone that is strong for the diameter, so hooked fish can still be controlled. Primary targets are horse mackerel (aji), rockfish, and other light-game species, with the rods usable for freshwater light-game by skilled anglers. This is the lightest line-class series in the catalogued lineup, distinct from the bass and surf rods in both target and lure weight.
