Magic Eye Light Popping

The Magic Eye Light Popping series is a four-model offshore lineup paired across spinning and conventional builds at two lengths. The 7'5" models (B-753, S-753) are rated 30 to 90 g over 15 to 25 lb line, and the 8'0" models (B-804, S-804) step up to 70 to 130 g over 22 to 40 lb, covering a light to light-medium popping range. Each length is offered in a casting and a spinning version so anglers can match the rod to either reel type. The blanks are nano carbon, tuned to a moderate, flexible action that gives a deep, rubber-band-type bend, a profile meant to stay forgiving under load while still applying lifting pressure. That softer bend suits anglers who prefer a rod that loads deeply when working surface lures. Although rated as light popping rods, the series is grounded on fish well above its class, including a 100 lb tuna and a 110 lb GT landed on the 804 in fisheries from Panama to Bermuda. Within Black Hole's popping range this sits below the heavier Cape Cod and NANOFIN rods, serving as the lighter-tackle entry for surface work on smaller to mid-class pelagics, while retaining the strength to handle the occasional larger fish.
