Surf II

Surf II is Black Hole USA's heavy-duty surf lineup, built for serious backbone, long-range casting, and the durability to work demanding surf. The series splits into two builds. The Regular models come in 10 and 11 feet as two-piece spinning rods rated 20-40 lb line with a 2-6 oz lure window. The Heavy models extend the range hard: 10 and 11 feet as spinning rods and 12 and 13 feet as casting rods for conventional reels, all rated 40-60 lb line with a 3-10 oz lure capacity for moving large plugs, heavy bucktails, and chunk baits at distance. Every model is two-piece. The blanks are advanced nano carbon, a thin-diameter, high-strength construction that keeps the rod comparatively light despite its power, the reason long sessions and big-fish fights are less taxing. The action loads into a smooth, powerful bend that spreads pressure along the blank rather than concentrating it, aiding both long casts and sustained fights. With its 40-60 lb Heavy tier and rods reaching 13 feet, Surf II covers the upper end of the surf range, taking over where the lighter Striped Bass Special and East Coast Special leave off and overlapping the conventional-reel duty handled by the dedicated 12 and 13 foot Heavy Conventional pair.
