Tarantula Edge is a freshwater bass series positioned as the upgraded successor to the Tarantula line. The three catalogued models are all 6'7": the one-piece spinning TES-671ML-ST and the two-piece spinning TES-672ML-ST (both 4 to 10 lb line), plus the one-piece casting TEC-671L-ST (4 to 8 lb line). Designations point to medium-light and light spinning plus light casting, and the spinning models carry a solid tip (ST). Blanks are built from CP 020 4YA-5 carbon using an 8-axis weave, described as suppressing torsional twist for a powerful, fast, sharp feel. Guide trains pair Fuji K-Guide SIC running guides with a Fuji Titanium tip guide. The series sits at a higher price tier than Dark Horse II. It is aimed at precision freshwater bass presentations with light-line spinning tackle, where bite detection and recovery matter more than heavy cover-cranking power.
