GRF-TR is the PE-special branch of Breaden's Glamour Rock Fish light-game family, built for anglers who want a light-line spinning rod that still handles unexpectedly large fish. The three models (GRF-TR711, TR85, TR93) all carry a 1.5-20 g cast window and a PE 0.3-0.6 line rating, pairing sensitive tip control and long casting with a belly-to-butt that stays powerful enough to drag big mebaru out of weed beds, tetrapods, and high seawalls. The line was conceived as a limitation-release rod: one blank that manages microrigs, hard plugs, metal jigs such as the Metalmaru, and vibration lures like the 13VIB across a range of targets and venues.

GRF-TR711 PE special is the shortest at 7'11", trading length for a lighter, quicker feel in hand while keeping the flexible, powerful mid-to-butt section of the longer models. It suits light rigs, small hard plugs, the 13VIB and 13iSlider, and metal jigs up to Metalmaru 19. GRF-TR85 PE special V2.4 at 8'5" runs a belly that keeps fish from thrashing and a small-diameter guide layout for balance, working as a float-rig rod for mebaru and aji and extending into middle-game targets like madai, flatfish, and kurodai.

GRF-TR93 PE special V2.4 is the 9'3" long-cast model, favoring line control from high piers and rocky shores and load-and-launch distance over surf. The V2.4 revision is a continuation of the prior generation with improved strength, a more forgiving cast-weight range, and better cast accuracy and repeatability; the earlier PE special and PE special Houri-Island were merged into single models.
