Croaker Smoker

The Croaker Smoker is the croaker-bait and popping arm of CastAway's inshore Smoker family, built for fishing live croaker and working popping corks for trout and redfish. The series carries six Medium-power rods in matched spinning and casting pairs at three lengths. The 7' pair (CS70C, CS70S) is set up for popping, the 7'6" pair (CS76C, CS76S) adds reach, and the 8' pair (CS80C, CS80S) is the longest inshore option CastAway makes. Both 8' models are sold local-pickup-only at the CastAway shop and are not shipped. The longer lengths suit anglers who want to cast a cork or croaker a distance and keep line off the water, a common need when fishing croaker over shell and grass in Texas bays. All six rods are priced at $99.99. As with the rest of the inshore line, Croaker Smoker rods can be ordered with the optional state trout and redfish marks for Texas, Louisiana, or Mississippi.
