InShore Smoker

The InShore Smoker is CastAway's core Gulf inshore line for speckled trout and redfish. The six rods cover both reel formats and a working range of powers: Medium spinning and casting at 7' (ISMS7, ISMC7), a 6'6" Medium spinning (ISMS66), Light spinning and casting at 7' (ISLS7, ISLC7) for tout tails and small artificials, and a 6'5" Medium Light casting wader rod (ISCML65) built shorter for fishing from the water. The line is set up for the standard inshore presentations CastAway markets across the Smoker family: popping corks, soft plastics, and topwaters thrown for trout and reds along the Texas and Gulf coast. Lengths sit between 6'5" and 7', which keeps the rods short enough to handle in a boat or while wading and long enough to work a cork. Every rod in the series is priced at $99.99, placing it as CastAway's accessible inshore option below the Skeleton Nano.
