The Pro Sport CX2 is CastAway's high-modulus value line, built on a CX2 carbon blank with custom features and professional-grade components at a flat $99.99 across the series. The 12 models cover the widest power span in the catalog at a single price, from the CX2ULS68, a 6'8" Ultra Light spinning rod, up through Light, Medium, and Medium Heavy to the CX27H, a 7' Heavy casting Mag stick. Both spinning and casting formats are covered, in lengths from 6'6" to 7'5". The line reaches both inshore and bass anglers: the CX2SMS7 is a 7' Medium spinning rod rated 1/4 to 5/8 oz on 8-14 lb line, the CX2GHB75 is a 7'5" grass-master braid casting rod, the CX2MLF67 is a 6'7" Medium Light finesse rod, and the CX269M is a Medium tops-and-tails rod. The CX2 blank brings carbon performance to CastAway's mid price point, sitting between the Pro Sport entry line and the Skeleton Nano flagship.
