The 24 Tatula XT is the Japanese-market Tatula XT, and it is a different lineup from the American TXT-prefixed rods that share the name. Where the US series runs 7'0" to 8'0", the Japanese rods sit between roughly 6'2" and 7'3" (1.88 to 2.21 m), the length band Japanese bank and boat fishing actually uses. Daiwa introduced it in 2024 with 25 models: 8 grip-joint one-piece rods and 17 center-cut two-piece rods, so most of the lineup breaks down for transport without a change in rating.
Blanks are HVF carbon, a layup that cuts resin content to raise fiber density. X45 lays carbon on a plus/minus 45 degree bias to resist blank twist on the cast and the hookset, and Braiding-X wraps the butt section in X-pattern carbon tape to hold the lower blank round under load. Reel seats are carbon with the Tatula logo cut into the fore nut, and guide trains are specced per model rather than shared across the series.
Coverage runs the full Japanese spread. The 621ULXS is a 1.88 m spinning rod rated 0.45 to 3.5 g and 1.5 to 4 lb for small hard baits and light rigs, while the 6102MHRB carries 7 to 28 g and 10 to 20 lb. The lineup also includes a dedicated frog model and a heavy swimbait and big bait rod, plus finesse spinning models in the 682LFS class at 0.9 to 7 g.
