Dragger SX, introduced in 2024, is the technical grade below Break Through and the broadest series in the ladder at sixteen models. Note the two figures printed on every blank: a metal-jig rating and a lower plug rating. A metal jig is dense and compact, so a blank carries its weight cleanly; a plug of the same mass is bulky, catches air on the cast and pulls water on the retrieve, so the plug ceiling sits well below the jig ceiling. Reading only one number puts an angler on the wrong rod. Ratings here are given as maximums. Two-piece models run from the 3.05 m 100ML (jig max 60 g, plug max 50 g, PE 1-2.5) through 100M, 106M, 100MH and 100H to the 100HH (jig max 160 g, PE 4-6). Three-piece models extend to the 3.35 m 110HB-3 and top out at the 95XH-3 and 107XHB-3 (jig max 200 g, PE 6-8). A B suffix marks baitcasting models (103MB, 106MHB, 110HB-3, 109HHB-3, 107XHB-3); JS marks jig-special tapers (98MH JS, 95H JS) tuned so a jig can be worked all day without over-swinging, with lightweight single-foot guides at the tip. Blanks are HVF Nanoplus with X45 bias-cross reinforcement and V-Joint ferrules, fitted with SiC-ring guides in KW, LKW, K and MN patterns, an Air Sensor reel seat and the CC Grip fighting butt. This is shore jigging gear for 10 kg class amberjack thrown from breakwater and rock, the discipline Americans would recognise as surf casting for stripers scaled up in lure weight.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 16 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
