The core Morethan line sits directly beneath Branzino and carries most of the same design vocabulary: SVF COMPILE-X Nanoplus blanks, X45 Full Shield bias carbon over the outer layer, V-JOINT alpha ferrules, and AGS TYPE-R guides fixed with CWS carbon wrapping. Reel seats split by model, with the ZERO_SEAT seamless fit on the main lineup and Air Sensor Slim seats on the three longest rods (103ML/M, 106M, 106M/MH) to take larger reels. Fifteen two-piece models run 2.51 m to 3.20 m, roughly 8'3" to 10'6", twelve spinning plus three baitcasters (93LMLB, 95MLMB, 104MB). Ratings stretch from 5-35 g and PE 0.5-1.5 on the 83L/ML harbor rod up to 20-80 g and PE 1.0-3.0 on the 93H big-plug model, with built weights of 110 g to 170 g. Where Branzino specializes, this tier is built to cover the whole fishery. Japanese seabass, suzuki, is chased at night across very different water in a single season: lit harbor walls, breakwaters, surf, tidal flats and the outflow of rivers, a fish that runs hard and heads for structure much as a striped bass does off a jetty. Lengths of eight to ten feet are what keep line clear of rock and wave and reach across a flat on foot. The gram and PE numbers are the Japanese standard, since lures there are sold by gram weight and braid by PE grade rather than pound test.
