Wisemen is the Morethan line's rough-coast branch, aimed at hirasuzuki rather than the harbor and estuary suzuki the rest of the family serves. Hirasuzuki is the deeper-bodied seabass of exposed Pacific rock, fished from boulder headlands and offshore rock in swell, whitewater and onshore wind, closer in feel to picking striped bass out of a rocky New England wash than to bay fishing. The five models cover 3.28 m to 4.57 m and 10-60 g on PE 0.8-2.5. Two are pack-oriented: the T150M-5 is a five-section telescopic at 4.57 m that collapses to 112 cm and weighs 322 g, and the AGS 130M-4 is a four-piece 3.96 m ferruled rod closing to 105 cm at 215 g. That construction exists because the marks are reached on foot over boulder fields and cliff trails, or by charter skiff onto standing rock, so a 15 ft rod has to ride on a pack, come out ready, and go away fast when a set wave forces a move. The three fixed models are shorter and more specialized: 109M at 3.28 m (210 g) for accurate point casting, 113M/MH at 3.43 m (217 g) with a 3DX blank for driving lures through wind, and 110M/MHB at 3.35 m (235 g) as the baitcasting version. Construction runs SVF COMPILE-X Nano Plus, X45 and X45 Full Shield, V-JOINT joints, CWS wrapping, and AGS carbon guides on selected models.
