Outrage XV C

Offshore casting and popping in Outrage XV, the entry tier Daiwa calls the basic model. XV sits below Outrage BR and the high-standard Outrage line, and Daiwa presents it as the full model change of the earlier VADEL offshore series, given specifications intended to work outside Japan. The technology set is the shortest in the family: Braiding X, a carbon tape wrap that binds the butt section against twist, rather than the X45 and HVF constructions used above. Five spinning models are rated by plug grams and maximum PE class. C 76-2 at 7'6" (2.29 m) casts to 50 g on PE 2, C 79-3 at 7'9" (2.36 m) to 60 g on PE 3, C 80-4 at 8'0" (2.44 m) to 80 g on PE 4, and C 82-5 and C 82-6 both sit at 8'2" (2.49 m) at 100 g on PE 5 and 130 g on PE 6. There is no PE 8 model, so the ceiling is one step under the BR and Outrage casting lines. Rod weights run 221 to 356 g, all two-piece, on a Fuji DPS seat sized for mid and large spinning reels.
