The Great Performer line is the redesign of the original Sidewinder big-bass casting series Deps introduced in 1999. It is built for power-oriented bass fishing: heavy spinnerbait slow-rolling, rubber jigs, big baits, and reaction casting rather than tournament finesse. Blanks combine mid-modulus and 40-ton high-modulus graphite by model, with machine-cut aluminum guide rings and tapers tuned per role. The lineup runs from a 6'4" XH short-range stick to a 9'6" punching and flipping rod, with most models in the H to XXH range and one ML extension-finesse blank. Lure ratings span 1/16 to 5 oz and line ratings 8 to 30 lb across the series. One glass-composite casting model (Fer de Lance) covers fast-moving cranks and vibration. Each blank carries a marketing name alongside its code denoting its role.
