Vertex is Drennan's mid-price match family, covering the same commercial and natural-water territory as Acolyte at a friendlier price. The current generation carries updated cosmetics and a more tactile handle on balanced high-modulus blanks, with enlarged guides that help casting and let shock-leader knots pass through cleanly.
The range is organised by job rather than tier: Carp Feeder, Carp Method and Method Feeder rods from 9ft to 12ft for commercial carp, Medium and Distance Feeder models for more range, and a float side of Carp Waggler, Pellet Waggler and Float rods from 10ft to 15ft, including the MK2 float builds. Feeder models are supplied with two quivertips, typically 2oz and 3oz carbon on the distance builds, and the recommended reel lines run from 2lb float work up to 10lb for the method rods.
