Horizon X4-S sits in the middle of the Horizon ladder and is the widest of the premium carp families. The blanks use improved high-modulus carbon under a full 2k weave wrap, giving a stiffer, lighter rod with the woven cosmetic finish the tier is known for. The standard range runs 10ft to 13ft from 3lb to 4lb test curve, and two specialist builds extend it: an adjustable 8-10ft model at 3lb and 3.5lb for stalking and snag work, and a 12ft 2.25lb Floater rod, the lightest blank Fox builds, for surface fishing.
Prices run £129.99 for the Floater to £209.99 for the 13ft 4lb. For anglers fishing three-rod setups at range, the 12ft and 13ft 3.5lb and 4lb models are the family's centre of gravity.
