Horizon X5 Black is the updated version of Fox's X5-S range, rebuilt with newer carbon technology for a slimmer, faster-recovering blank in a stealth black finish. The range is deliberately tight: 12ft and 13ft only, at 3.25lb, 3.5lb and 4lb test curves, aimed at the mainstream of bivvy carp fishing rather than the specialist edges the X4-S covers.
At £239.99 to £279.99 the family bridges the gap between the X4-S workhorse tier and the Nanoalloy X6 flagships, and Fox sells tip and butt sections as separate spares through the same product page.
