Luxxe Pack Style A3

Luxxe Pack Style A3 is the larger of Gamakatsu's two redesigned pack-rod families for November 2026, replacing the Pack Style B4. Six rods close inside an A3 sheet (39 to 42 cm): S79ML-solid (7'9", 7 pieces, 3-21 g, solid tip), S86M (8'6", 8 pieces, 5-28 g), S90MH (9'0", 8 pieces, 10-50 g), S96H (9'6", 8 pieces, 30-80 g), the baitcasting B70XH (7'0", 7 pieces, 14-150 g) and the S610M.SF (6'10", 7 pieces), whose Switch Field grip moves 10 cm to change between a casting layout rated 5-28 g and a vertical layout rated 15-120 g.

Gamakatsu lists the S79ML-solid for aji and mebaru float rigs and small egi, the S86M as the super-versatile eging, seabass and chinu-top model, the S90MH for rivers, harbours, surf and reef, the S96H for yellowtail-class pelagics and rockfish on up to PE 3, and the B70XH for 4 oz class big baits and cover. Blanks are 80 % carbon and 20 % glass, guides stainless, reel seats Gamakatsu's own spinning and casting designs with an anti-loosening O-ring. Every piece carries alignment marks and its number, and a grey mark shows where to split the rod into two bundles. A belted bag and a semi-hard case (about 455 x 100 x 60 mm) are included. Weights run 110 to 250 g and list prices ¥31,000 to ¥39,800 before tax.
