Luxxe Pack Style A4 2026

Luxxe Pack Style A4 2026 is Gamakatsu's full model change of its A4-size pack rod, scheduled for early November 2026. The 2026 lineup replaces the earlier S49FL-solid, S54UL-solid, S66ML and B60L with four longer rods that still close inside the 29.7 cm A4 sheet: S510UL-solid (5'10", 8 pieces, 0.5-8 g, solid tip), S65L (6'5", 9 pieces, 0.8-10 g), S75M (7'5", 9 pieces, 5-28 g, fast action) and the baitcasting B74MH (7'4", 9 pieces, 7-56 g, regular action). Closed lengths are 28 cm for the two short rods and 29.5 cm for the 7-footers; weights 85 to 145 g.

Gamakatsu lists the S510UL-solid for 1 g class lures, mountain-stream and area trout, the S65L for jigheads and small plugs, the S75M for seabass, chinu topwater and eging, and the B74MH for everything from soft baits to big baits. Blanks are 97 % carbon and 3 % glass, guides stainless, the reel seats Gamakatsu's own spinning and casting designs with an O-ring that stops the hood nut backing off. Every piece carries guide-alignment marks and its section number, and a grey mark shows where to split the rod into two bundles. A belted rod bag and a semi-hard case (about 330 x 80 x 50 mm) are included. List prices are ¥26,500 to ¥29,800 before tax.
