The SIC guides give smooth line release for finesse casts and hold up to repeated trips, and the graphite blank keeps the rod light in hand for a spinning setup. Halo positions the Rave Series 3 for anglers stepping up from a bare-bones combo rod without moving to the carbon-fiber lines above it.

Two spinning models cover the common light-line powers: 7' Medium and 7' Medium Heavy. The Medium suits general spinning, drop shot, and lighter soft-plastic presentations, while the Medium Heavy adds backbone for heavier soft plastics and moving baits on spinning gear.
