The Assassin is Hearty Rise's long-format seabass series, offered in both put-over and telescopic builds. The 330 and 360 are three-piece rods at 3.33 and 3.64 m rated 9-56 g on PE 1-4, while the telescopic 390-T and 420-T stretch to 3.94 and 4.24 m, take 12-84 g lures on PE 1-5, and close to 112 and 123 cm for transport. All four blanks are 99 percent carbon, with rod weights from 243 to 376 g.
The length is aimed at shore marks with high banks and drop-offs where a standard seabass rod runs out of reach, and the series doubles as a light surf and long-cast lure rod. Despite the extra length the blanks stay light enough to keep the handling of a shorter rod, and the guides are finished in gold. Choosing between the two formats comes down to packing length: the telescopic versions travel shorter, the sectional versions keep a conventional joint.
