The Bamboo TWIG is a lightweight trout spinning series of three two-piece models around 2 m: the 662UL at 59 g throws 0.2-3 g on 0.8-3 lb line, the 682UL at 61 g covers 0.5-4 g, and the 682XUL at 64 g runs 0.5-5 g on 1-4 lb. Blanks are 99 percent carbon on a newly designed slim profile, with the taper structure reworked specifically to cut weight and raise sensitivity.
A high-sensitivity reel seat is part of that brief, amplifying faint takes through the hand, while the tip balances feel with enough softness to place light casts accurately at range. The blank is built to damp excess vibration, which steadies the rod during the cast and gives more control over a fish's direction during the fight. The intended water spans small streams, larger rivers, and lakes, making it a finesse trout tool rather than a single-venue area rod.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 3 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
