The Bayou Hunter is a five-piece travel spinning series with a variable-length joint, so each rod fishes at two lengths: the 704/805L runs 3-18 g on PE 0.8 max, the 724/855ML covers 7-25 g on PE 1, and the 754/885MH throws 10-50 g on PE 1.5. Extended lengths span roughly 2.46 to 2.66 m, closed lengths stay at 58-61 cm, and rod weights run 144-172 g on 99 percent carbon blanks.
Construction pairs the NET-V III blank structure with SNVC ultra-high-density carbon for strength with sensitivity, and the multi-piece joints are cut for a continuous bend through the sections. Hardware is travel-grade: a real-wood and aluminum reel seat with a double lock nut to keep the reel from working loose, and Fuji SiC guides throughout for tangle resistance over long sessions. The brief is one packable rod for streams, estuaries, harbors, and breakwaters, in fresh or salt water. Note that oversized reel feet may not seat in the compact reel seat.
