Black Attack

The Black Attack is an iso float series built for black porgy, offered in two 5.31 m five-piece models: the 0-53 rated for 0.3-2 go floats at 193 g, and the 0.8-53 rated 0.8-2.5 go at 196 g. Both close to 116 cm, and both blanks are 99 percent carbon rolled from Japanese-sourced material.

The blank is finished with Hearty Rise's no-sand, no-paint process, which leaves the carbon's native flex intact while shedding water and resisting scratches. The handle is wrapped in synthetic rattan in a retro style that traces the traditions of kurodai float fishing, and laser-etched metal trim finishes the fittings. The two float ratings split the series into a near-zero buoyancy model for finesse presentations and a slightly heavier model for more current or depth, keeping the pair squarely inside light-tackle black porgy work from rocks and breakwaters.
