Black Ocean

The Black Ocean is a hand-held boat rod series built around a carbon-glass composite: SNVC ultra-high-density carbon combined with high-resilience glass fiber (40 percent glass) on the NET-V III blank structure, with a thick-walled tube and X-pattern cross wrap for durability under sinker loads. Four two-piece models pair two lengths with two weight classes: 1.96 and 2.16 m versions rated for 80-150 go sinkers, and the same lengths rated 150-300 go, with rod weights from 322 to 355 g.

The tip is a high-visibility solid glass section in bright orange, so soft takes register both in the hand and by eye. Guides are Fuji LC tangle-free frames to keep braid off the frames on the drop, and the reel seat is a Fuji PSS with an ergonomic profile for long sessions. The soft tip over a resilient mid-section is meant to convert shy bites while still turning hard-charging fish, in a package light enough to hold all day.
