The CUI HU FENG H (Cui Hu Feng, hard-hard action) is a telescopic reel-less pole series for mountain streams, designed around lifting sizeable fish clear of the water on the strike. Five models run from 4.48 m at 84 g through roughly 8 m, all closing to 67 cm; the 5.38 m weighs 120 g, the 6.26 m 173 g, and the 7.16 m 227 g, on 99 percent carbon blanks with section counts from 9 to 15.

The stiff action carries a light, resilient blank that translates wrist movements directly into the tip, so hook-sets come fast and a hooked fish can be steered rather than followed. The fine tip section is tuned to show the smallest takes. This is a pole for probing wild creeks and rocky gorges where larger stream fish hold, with the long closed-to-open ratio typical of travel-friendly stream poles.
