The DARK Souls is Hearty Rise's battle-oriented freshwater series, built to face large quarry head-on from a thin blank. The base is the NET-V III structure combined with NANO NVC material, which the brand uses to push lightness, sensitivity, handling, and strength simultaneously on a slim-diameter tube at 90 percent carbon. Six one-piece models pair spinning and baitcast versions in three ratings: L at 1.98 m for 3-12 g on 3-10 lb, ML, and M at 2.04 m for 5-21 g on up to 16 lb, with rod weights of 135-147 g. The L pair is marked new in the current catalog.
The short one-piece format keeps the blank's taper uninterrupted, which is where the claimed gain in feel and attack power comes from: a fine tip that loads quickly backed by enough body to control strong fish.
