EGI Style

The EGI Style is a telescopic squid-rod series with five models from 2.76 to 4.24 m, all rated PE 1-4 and carrying egi up to size 4.0 on the shorter builds and 4.5 on the 3.9 and 4.2 m versions. The 2.7 and 3.0 m models are three-piece telescopics closing to 100-113 cm, the longer models four-piece, with rod weights from 154 to 234 g on 99 percent carbon blanks.

A revised action raises elasticity, toughness, and stiffness together, widening the rod's range beyond eging to general lure work, and the NET-V II reinforcement carries rod input to the jig cleanly while sharpening bite transmission back to the hand. A new non-slip grip improves holding comfort through repeated jerk cadences, and the telescopic format keeps any model compact enough to stay in the car or travel bag. The long versions extend eging reach from high rocks and breakwaters where a standard 8 ft 6 in rod fishes short.
