FEV Gougeki is a three-model long spinning series that Hearty Rise characterizes by toughness, control, and strength. The blanks use high-density carbon cloth in an advanced construction that the maker credits with higher rigidity and reduced blank wobble, on an 80 percent carbon layup. All three models share the same ratings, 12-30 g lures on PE 0.8 to 1.5, across lengths of 2.63 m (GS-862ML), 2.76 m (GS-902ML), and 2.88 m (GS-962ML) at 130 g to 147 g, two-piece. The length range and ratings fit shore lure work such as seabass-class plugging, with length chosen to match the venue.
