Gangshan (剛閃) is a competition-oriented iso float rod series with a deliberately stiff, powerful action. The fast, high-recoil blank is built for tournament grounds: on the strike it drives the hook home and seats it in the correct position quickly, and in the fight it subdues and lifts fish with minimal wasted time. The range of power ratings and lengths lets a competitor match the rod to the venue and the size of fish expected, and fish the rod hard with confidence.
Seven models cover the line in 99% carbon: 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 gou versions at 5.3 m (five-piece, closed length 116 cm) plus 2, 3 and 4 gou versions at 6.3 m, with the P suffix marking the heavier competition blanks. Sinker ratings run from 1-3 gou on the Gangshan 1-53 up to 2-6 gou on the 3-53P, and rod weights range 230 g to 292 g across the 5.3 m models.
