Genpa

Genpa (玄波) is Hearty Rise's value-line iso float rod, carrying technology down from the dearer series. The blank uses DOUBLE HELIX-X torque reinforcement for high rigidity with a smooth, progressive bend, giving light handling with strong lifting tension. It is pitched as a wide-coverage rod: the same series handles black seabream and blackfish inshore, and steps up to large longtail blackfish around offshore islands and even red seabream. Each model also has a zoom section, so the working length can be extended or shortened to suit the swim.

Four models make up the line, all five- or six-piece telescopic blanks in 99% carbon. Three are 4.5/5.3 m zoom rods in 1.5, 2 and 3 gou (215 g to 265 g, closed length 124 cm), and the 3-53/60 extends the format to 5.3/6.0 m at 362 g. The lighter grades suit standard float work while the 3 gou blanks cover heavier fish and current.
